The US and UK divisions of IVAO are proud to present another collaborative event, like no other before! On the night of the 22nd November 2008, you, as a pilot, will have another chance to cross the pond, except this time, hopping Eastbound and flying overnight! Full ATC will be provided from the departure from Washington (KIAD) to the arrival in London Heathrow (EGLL) the following morning, including full oceanic control, to simulate what happens in real life, every night.

The departure window from Washington is 2230 - 0000z pilots can expect full ATC at Washington during this period. The approximate flight time to Heathrow is 8hrs which means that at the latest, you will arrive into London at 0700-0730z (assuming you depart within the departure window).
For further details, please visit the Event Webpage

Grab a real life flight plan that will be used by pilots on the same night, and enjoy flying as real as it gets!

This is definitely not an event to be missed - see you there!

Put me down for control somewhere.. Rather not a GND/TWR position. Maybe F_INT if it is needed  Cool

Looks like it's going to be a grad event all!  Cool

Just to add - This is more of an experiment to see what sort of numbers we get for an overnight flight like this.

Hopefully I will be flying for this one Smiley

Unfortunatley I wont be in the house until around 0000z on the 22nd?/23rd and would want to be down before my parents woke up so I might join in from somewhere en route. Unfortunatley because the PC is in the room adjacent to my parents, gonna have to be text only for me if I participate, as to not wake them up during the night. Don't think at 3am in the morning they would appreciate "Passing xxn/xxw at 0305 estimating xxn/xxw at 0355z next is XXn/XXw"
