On the 16th and 17th of May, IVAO UK will be attending the Flight Sim Convention in Weston-Super-Mare. Bristol Airport will be staffed live from the convention for the duration of the two days. Other surrounding positions will be required to be staffed throughout the two days. Fly into Bristol during the weekend between 9z - 19z on Saturday and 9z - 16z on Sunday to help support & promote our division at the convention.

The following positions will need to be staffed throughout the two days. Please post below if you would like to control and the time(s) and day(s) on which you will be available to control.

EGFF_APP - Oli (both days)

EGTT_10_CTR
EGTT_35_CTR - Rob

Further information regarding the event can be found here.

See you there!

Presuming they meant Cardiff, if so.. Not really worth it in all honesty. Will be at WSM so sure I'll be on BRI at some point Smiley Would be great to show people our great pilots and see you filling up the skies  Wink

No point having FF AIR open - AWY should be able to do AWY, RAD and AIR all bandboxed into one assuming the FF traffic will be light (and I think we can agree that's likely).

Having someone on standby to do Bristol Radar would be rather useful - said person could fly / work S35 at other times. Robert?

S35 will be openable without S10 being open so our less experienced C2s can have a go.

Whilst I certainly don't want to discourage you from using my home aerodrome - the whole point of this event is to generate traffic for the Bristol FS Convention (so people may see us in action) and therefore the event is being held at Bristol (EGGD). The reason you see EGFF_APP listed above is that Cardiff has quite a fair chunk of airways delegation from LACC (that's the Area unit). This means that most BRS inbound and outbound traffic is handled by Cardiff at some point.

I'll get drunk as hell the day I get at least a glimpse of understanding of the UK airspace system Smiley
